Guest Central

Our Guest Central hosts are vital in the experience that our first time guests receive .  As a Guest Central host, you do much more than just gather information from our first time guests.  You are their host and are responsible for their first time experience.  You are there to help answer any questions that they may have.  

Before Service Checklist

Be at the Guest Central desk at least 15 minutes before the start of each service.
Make sure you have a working laptop and that you can pull up the first time guest form.
The form is at https://discoverpoint.ccbchurch.com/goto/forms/131/responses/new.  You will need to access it with Firefox, Not Safari.
If no PC is available, you can use the digital connect card to pull up the form on your phone or have them fill out the form on their phone.
Answer any questions they may have.  Can we bring drinks into the auditorium?  How do we sign our kids in?  Is there a youth service?  Where are the bathrooms?  Does coffee cost anything?  Do you have Sunday School?
Give them a first time guest gift bag.  They are in the closet with the lights directly behind the Guest Central desk.
If they have children, escort them to DK and introduce them to the volunteer working the Discover Kids Desk.
Escort them to Java Point, introduce them to the volunteer in Java Point and let them know that all their drinks are on us today.

  • What time are our services?
    • Our services are at 9:30 and 11 am every Sunday
  • Do you have Sunday School?
    • We do not have Sunday School, but we have a variety of Groups that you can join that meet throughout the week.  You can download the app to get a list of groups and where they meet.
  • Do you have Youth?
    • We have Youth Groups that meet on Wednesday evenings starting at 6pm.  It is for middle and high school students.  They meet as a large group and then break up into smaller groups.
  • What denomination is the church?
    • We are a non-denominational church.
  • How much is coffee?
    • Hot Coffee is free, however there is a small charge for specialty drinks like cold brew or hot chocolate.
  • Can we take our coffee into the auditorium?
    • Yes.

Check the lobby for any trash left around and dispose of it properly
Place any unused gifts or materials back into the closet where you found them
