You or one of your children has made the decision to take their next step in faith and be baptized at our upcoming Discover Point Baptism Celebration. Below is a little more information about what is going to happen that day. At the end of this email is the link to the Baptism form (Please make sure to fill it out).

Baptism Check-In:
Grace Can be given if we are contacted in advance. However, if we are not contacted, and you arrive late, we will be
unable to baptize you, thereby pushing you to the next service.

Below is a little more information about what is going to happen that day. At the end of this email is the link to the Baptism form (Please make sure to fill it out).
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING IN ITS ENTIRETY:
Baptism Check-In:
- PLEASE ARRIVE 25 MINUTES BEFORE THE SERVICE BEGINS TO CHECK-IN. Check-in will take place in the community room where you will be given instructions and a card with your name on it. You will not be allowed on stage unless you have your note card.
- BRING A TOWEL AND A CHANGE OF CLOTHES! Wear dark shorts or pants. We will give you a Baptism t-shirt when you check in to wear during your baptism.
- SEATING FOR FAMILY. If you have family coming to watch your baptism, we ask that you please arrive early to make sure that you have room to sit together. We do understand that you may have to reserve 1-2 seats, but please avoid sending someone to reserve lots of seats.
- WHAT IF I WOULD LIKE MY CHILD TO SEE MY BAPTISM? We will be bringing in Discover Point Kids during the baptism portion of the service so that children can see their family members baptized. If you would like, you can check them into Discover Kids first, and then, they will be brought into the service during the baptism portion.
- Baptism will happen after the first or the second worship song.
- Make sure you have a card that has your name on it (you should receive this at check-in).
- Please have your card ready to hand off to a Team Member at the time of baptism.
- How to enter the baptismal pool:
- Carefully walk up the stairs (a Team Member will assist you).
- Walk to the far end of the baptismal pool, step down and then have a seat on the step.
- Hold your nose. The Pastor will grab your hand and help you lean backwards to full immersion
- and then sit you back up.
- Stand up carefully and turn around.
- Step up and walk to the entry point.
- Step out of the baptismal pool, (a Team Member will be there to assist you and hand you a towel).
