Discover Point Church Changing the way you think about church

Philip Lehman felt called to the ministry at the age of 13. Since that time he has served in various ministries, including five years as a lead pastor. In 1996 he graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor's degree in religion. Several years ago Philip began to feel that God was asking him to start a church. At the time he had no idea when or where. As Philip and his wife Angela began to pray about it, they felt that God wanted them to start a church in the East Atlanta area.

He is married to his Wife Angela. They have three children, Hannah, Micah and Sarah . They still love to go out on dates and enjoy traveling. Philip has been known to be quite a travel agent, always finding the best deals on exciting places. Philip's other hobbies include golf and high school football. He enjoys a good round of golf and even plays pretty well, most of the time. On Friday nights during football season he can be found rooting for his favorite high school team Northside High. He can even be heard on the radio announcing some the games.

David graduated from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia with a liberal arts degree in music. It was during this time at Mercer that he took his first ministry position with a local church. Here he learned a lot about people and team building, and became better prepared for when God would lead him to East Atlanta to start a totally new church.

He is married to his beautiful wife Lisa , with whom he continues to grow closer as life presents each new situation. He also has a son Ethan who he thinks is the most amazing kid in the world!

His vision for worship arts at Discover Point is still developing as God shows him more each day and week. "We want more than just a play-back of popular Christian worship songs, or to mimic other churches. We want to be true worshipers of God." He envisions song writers, poets, and visual artists all using their talents to honor and glorify God, and to inspire God's people. "My personal goal in this vision is for myself to grow as well," he adds. "To share my heart, my love for God, and to be stretched by others' creativity and imagination."


Administrative Pastor: Jeff McCammon
Jeff is a ramblin' wreck from Georgia Tech and he even survived with a degree in Applied Mathematics. While working as a youth and education minister at a local church, Jeff finished a Masters of Divinity degree at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Now he splits his time between being a full-time student at Georgia State University and Discover Point.

Jeff has lived in the metro Atlanta area for all of his life. He currently resides in Conyers with his yellow Labrador Retriever, Stryder. Jeff loves to read; you might see him at Starbucks or Borders with a Mocha Chill and a good book.

He is excited to see what God is going to do through the small groups of Discover Point. Jeff believes that true ministry is related to authentic community. "When people come to the worship service, they will see our love for God...but when people come to our small groups, they will see our love for each other."




Executive Pastor: Brad Williams
Brad Williams is our Executive Pastor. He handles the duties of updating the website, creating and developing new technologies and providing the church with a little extra every Sunday.

He can be seen every Sunday either behind the Sound Board or the Computer.

Brad has been married to his wife Sandra since 2001 and they have 4 wonderful children Garrett, Ryan, Connor and Brady. Ryan is the only Girl.

Brad enjoys all sports including but not limited to football, golf, and basketball. " I'm terrible at golf" says Brad "but I love to play when I get a chance"

He is currently finishing his degree in IT at Liberty University..

Discover Kids Director: Trista Ross

Trista graduated from the University of Dayton with a bachelor's degree in special education. Upon graduation she moved down to Conyers, Georgia in order to teach. After working as a teacher for a few years she took a job as an interim preschool director at a local church and that's when she realized that God was calling her to children's ministry. Trista has been married to her wonderful husband, Jeremy, since 2003. They have two precious little girls-Hayden and Layne. Trista is very passionate about children and teaching them about Christ. She would also like to help equip parents to work alongside the church in order to raise children who know, love, and serve Christ. Trista's desire is for children and their parents to become devoted Christ followers. Trista also enjoys gardening and baking. She's been referred to as the female version of Duff from Ace of Cakes but she thinks that's going a little too far! During pro football season she will be rooting for the 6 time Super Bowl Champs (since that's her hometown)- Go Steelers!!

Tom graduated from Newton High School and went to High Point University where he graduated with an exercise science degree. Tom began working in radio while in North Carolina. Married Kelly in 2003 and moved back to Atlanta in 2006 where he continued his radio career. Tom and Kelly have 2 children - TJ and Lyla. Tom joined the Discover Point Staff in 2010 as the Production/Media Director. Tom's hobbies include making (and eating) BBQ, making movies, and spending time with his family. The highlight of Tom's week is seeing people worship during the worship experiences. Recently, Tom ended his radio career to being a new career as a Broadcast Video Production teacher at the Rockdale Career Academy.
