The Mission of Discover Point is to be relevant as we lead our generation to God and connect people to a growing community of Christ followers. That means you may see some things at DP that you might not expect to see in church, but you can rest assured that our only focus is on God and seeing you connect with him.
Changing the way you think about church means that we want YOU to connect. We know the words "church" and "christian" turn off a lot of people. We are looking to change that! So if you are looking for a church that is completely different, that really cares about you experiencing God, and a place where you can connect with others then give DP a try.
Some things to Expect
Loud Music- We worship God with all of our hearts and we like it loud!
Friendly people- We don't think we are better than you. We are all broken people and we all want you to feel at home at Discover Point.
Practical Messages- We know that you are looking for information that can help you in your situation so we try to cover as many real world topics as we can. We will teach you what the Bible says about these topics.
A kids program your kids will enjoy- We want to be the best part of your kids week! So we try really hard to make it as fun, safe and educational as possible. We will teach your children what the bible says about topics that pretain to them!
Casual Environment- We want you to be comfortable. Casual Dress, Java Point Coffee, food all adds to this environment...just come as you are.
