Discover Point Church Changing the way you think about church

Here at Discover Point we value our children's program. We have put together a safe and fun environment for all ages. Discover Kids is completely designed with kids in mind. While at Discover Kids the children can take a road trip in our giant city filled with all sorts of cool things to explore. It is our goal that each child learns that Jesus is Real, Fun, and Exciting....no matter what your age! Parent will be able to attend the worship service knowing that their children are cared for and loved. More importantly each teacher is trained to help your child come to or grow in a relationship with Christ.

Discover Kids opens at 8:45 AM every Sunday.

Program begins at 9, 10:30, and 12:00.


Scooters: Newborn-Crawlers

The depot is a perfect place to drop off your new precious one. We have nurturing caring volunteers that will love and care for your little one as if he or she was their own.

Trolleys: Walkers - 2 Years

The other half of the depot is a perfect place to drop off your little ones. We have a safe well contained area where they can explore God's world around them. The depot has tons of toys and games for tots to enjoy. Each week they will learn about God's love for them, sing songs, and complete a craft.

City Slickers: Ages 3-5 Years

In the city is where you will find our active toddlers and kindergartners playing and learning. They will take a journey into God's story each week and learn about who He is and how much He loves them.




Skyscrapers: Grades 1st -5th

Further into the city you will find the Skyscrapers learning about Jesus and growing closer to Him through small group activities that will reinforce the days lesson and help them apply the Biblical truths to their lives. They will also build a strong foundation of faith through Holywood, worship, crafts, and games.

*During the 10:30 and 12:00 services the Skyscrapers will be divided into a boys small group and a girls small group.

HOLYWOOD

The Skyscrapers will encounter the ultimate worship experience when they enter the Holywood Theater for large group time. They will worship with high energy music, and learn about the Word through stories, skits, and videos. It's an experience like no other!

During small group time they will implement specific virtues through a comprehensive approach to exhibiting the character of Christ. This is also a time to dig deeper into what they were introduced to during Holywood. They will be able to connect with their leaders and God on a much deeper level.

Sundays in Discover Kids City will be an experience your children won't soon forget!! They will be eager to come back every week!


Discover Kids Check-in/Check-out Procedure:

When you and your child arrive at Discover Kids City for the first visit you will be asked to fill out an information card. You can download and fill the card out before you come by clicking here. Once we have entered your child's information into our computer you and your child will receive a label for security and identification purposes. The printed label will have your child's name, allergies, and an ID number on it. A computerized paging system will notify you on the screens in the worship center (using the ID number on your label) if your child needs your attention during the service.

When the worship service is over please report back to Discover Kids City for pick up. You will be asked to show your printed label in order to pick your child up.

Please note that we do a background check on every Discover Kids Worker to ensure your child's safety. One parent per child is allowed to stay if they wish.

Tours of the kids area is provided upon request each Sunday by the Discover Kids Coordinator. Please gives us 48 hours notice for tours.
